“The boys were found in an unconscious state in the general compartment of Godan Express (1055), when the RPF personnel on patrol duty noticed them. The kidnappers had gone out to bring food after the train stopped at the station,” said RPF Senior Divisional Commandant S Shandilya.
Victims Amar Pandey (15) and Sai Kumar T (16), students of Class 10th, were on their way to a coaching class, when they were kidnapped by four masked persons on August 28.
Drugged
The Commandant said that the kidnappers drugged them and got them into a train at Bangalore from where they reached Hoshangabad district’s Itarsi station in Madhya Pradesh. However, the kidnappers escaped from the station.
