India vice-captain Virender Sehwag Tuesday said the whole team is praying for a speedy recovery of Yuvraj Singh, who is undergoing chemotherapy in the US for a malignant tumour between his lungs.

"Yuvraj, I heard, is taking chemotherapy but I am hoping that he will be fine and he will come back soon. We will all pray for Yuvraj and wish he will be fit soon," Sehwag said ahead of their tri-series match against Sri Lanka at the WACA ground here Wednesday.

Sehwag was confident that Yuvraj will overcome his illness, which is considered as highly curable.

"He will come out of whatever problem he is having and he can play as soon as possible," Sehwag said of the left-hander, who was named man of the series after India's triumph in the 2011 World Cup.

Yuvraj left for the US last month and is being treated at the Cancer Research Centre in Boston.

Yuvraj's doctor Nitish Rohatgi said he was in constant touch with the doctors in Boston and the all-rounder is expected to resume training in 10 weeks.
