Four Bangladeshi held for dacoity

Four Bangladeshi nationals were arrested here for involvement in around a dozen of dacoity and robbery cases in the national capital and Rajasthan, police said on Wednesday.

Jalil, 45, Kayyum, 32, Alam Gir, 30 and Kamal, 20, were arrested from Mehrauli in south Delhi following a tip-off on Tuesday, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) Chhaya Sharma.

“Two mobile phones, Rs 10,000 and a house-breaking equipment was recovered from their possession,” said Sharma.

During interrogation, police found that Jalil was the mastermind of this gang. He along with his accomplices had committed more than 10 cases of dacoity and robbery.
