Shantu Appaiah who has worked as the Janata Dal (Secular) Kodagu District Unit President has been appointed as the Vice-president of the party’s State Unit.
According to a release, in the order letter released by former Prime Minister H D Devegowda, Shantu Appaiah has been handed over with the new responsibility.
Shantu Appaiah has also been given responsibility of looking after the party work in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
