Cast: Genelia D’souza,
Ritesh Deshmukh,

Director: Mandeep Kumar

Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya shows less about their love story and more about how adventurous Genelia is. It is hard to know why the movie is named  Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya.

Mini (Genelia) is a daughter of a rich Punjabi father - Bhatti (Tinnu Anand). Bhatti’s only concern in life is to get his daughter married to a rich man. Meanwhile, Viren (Ritesh Deshmukh) feels Bhatti has taken all his hard-earned money. Viren tries to confront Bhatti on his daughter’s engagement day. As  Viren is drunk, Mini takes advantage of the moment and kidnaps Viren. However, Mini acts as if she has been kidnapped by Viren.

Mini doesn’t want to get married to her fiance and Viren wants to get his money back. To get their motives fulfilled they try to be adventurous.

However, it is difficult for the viewers to understand when and how the love story starts. Both of them become great friends and do not want to get separated.

Songs of the film are worth listening but somehow some songs just come out of the blue. As the chemistry between the two is hardly shown, it becomes difficult to digest romantic songs in between.

Genelia keeps up to her over-acting as usual and Ritesh’s humour at times entertains the viewers. Over-all the movie doesn’t have a matured story but the lively actors keep the viewers glued till the end.

If you are not a Ritesh-Genelia fan, you can save your money for the next movie.
