JOIN US An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an unidentified youth in Mohan Nagar in Ghaziabad on Friday. The girl was returning from a market when the youth abducted her, police said.
Her father said she returned home with blood stains on her clothes. SSP Raghubir Lal said she told her father that she was assaulted after being raped. A case has been filed with Sahibabad police station.
The case has been filed against an unknown person.
Constable kills self
A constable committed suicide at Kavi Nagar in Ghaziabad on Friday, police said. Bramha Jeet of the 47th PAC Battalion was found hanging from a celling fan in his room by a neighbour’s child, police said. No suicide note was found. Police said family dispute may be the reason behind his suicide.
