Honourable exit for Kempaiah: Acharya

Acharya told presspersons that there was a complaint of indiscipline against Kempaiah. Even as the complaint was being looked into he applied for the voluntary retirement. The government decided to offer him an honourable exit by accepting his request.

Asked what was his indiscipline act, Acharya said he would not go into details about the issue. “Both are senior officers of the department. Now the matter has been ended.

Kempaiah is no longer with the government service and no need to debate the issue,” he said. There are reports that Kempaiah applied for VRS after he allegedly had a verbal duel with DG and IGP Ajaykumar Singh, in a meeting.
