Varthur inspects road works in city

District In-charge Minister R Varthur Prakash inspected road development work from Doom Light Circle to Clock Tower at a cost of Rs one crore at Bangarpet Circle on Monday. 

Accompanied by the Public Work Department officials, the minister directed the officials to ensure quality in the work. 

Dilapidated roadsConcrete roads are being laid in the city and dilapidated roads will be asphalted. Major roads in the city have been concretised. 

Urban Bank president N Rajanna, Auto Union’s K V Suresh and PWD Executive Engineer T Venkatachala were present. 

The minister handed over title deed to Ashraya beneficiaries in Vakkaleri, Beglihosahalli and Dodda Hasala Gram Panchayat limits.
