The state government will release an ex-gratia compensation of Rs 3 lakh each to families of four children who died after a wall collapsed in Chattarpur in south Delhi.
The incident happened on Sunday when the wall of an under-construction building in Chattarpur Extension came down.
Four children who were playing carom near the wall were trapped in the rubble and died of severe injuries.
According to police, the construction of the wall was unauthorised, and it was scheduled to be demolished by Muncipal Corporation of Delhi on February 29.
