Residents of KGF protest against lack of water

Protesting against lack of water supply, residents of ward no 27, Sanitary Board and Housing Board colonies laid seige to the residence of BWSSB Assistant engineer Ravindra, in Kolar Gold Fields on Saturday.

The protesters said they have not been receiving water supply for the past one month. “We absolutely have no other alternative source for water,” they rued.

Despite submitting repeated memorandums to the authorities concerned, nothing came forward, they complained.

Later, assistant engineer Ravindra promised to address the issue at the earliest. Following this, the protesters withdrew their protest.
