Rajasthani food fest in M'lore

The hotel has arranged a Rajasthan Food Festival at its Cardamom restaurant that will continue till September 13. The entry is from 7.30 pm.
Chefs having expertise in Rajasthani cooking, Vimal Sharma  and Ajay Kumar, have been specially invited to serve the people of Mangalore, said the hotel Assistant Manager (Sales) Vivek Walia on Friday.

From the best known Rajasthani food- the combination of dal, bati and churma, to peculiar types of bread items like bati, lachhedar paratha and besan ki missi puri, meat specialities like lal maans and safed mass cooked with almonds, cashew and coconut, a large variety of items are available, he said.

Apart from spicy delicacies, sweet items like ladoos, malpuas, mishri mawa and hgevar of Jaipur, sohan halwa of Ajmer, mawa of Alwar, and rasgullas of Bikaner will also be served, he added.
