A court Thursday permitted slain Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden's brother-in-law to meet his sister, a media report said.

The Islamabad High Court allowed Zakarya Ahmad Abd Alftah, brother of Osama's Yemeni widow to meet his sister, Geo News reported.

US commandos had gunned down Osama in a daring operation in Abbottabad May 2 last year.

Zakarya Ahmad Abd Alftah had filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court for quashing of cases against his sister Amal Ahmad Abdul Fattah, who is Osama's widow.

The court issued notices to Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Ministries of Defence and Interior to submit replies within two weeks over the petition filed by Osama's brother-in-law.
