The meeting was arranged at the J H Patel auditorium and attended by the representatives of private schools .
Leaders of several pro-Kannada organisations alleging that they were not invited began shouting slogans.
The members complained that BEO Andani was unavailable over phone and does not respond to their problems.
Replying, Andani said that he is serving honestly and not ready to take any comments from anyone. This irked the members of the organisations who began quarelling with him and later attempted to evict him from the spot. Police intervened and brought the situation under control by taking Andani away.
Later, the meeting was postponed to April 17.
