Stray dogs menace to end in Arsikere

City Municipal council at last has come forward to catch the stray dogs which used to escape after attacking cattle and other domestic animals.

Public were annoyed with CMC taking no measures regarding stray dogs which had killed seven lambs and even attacked pedestrians.

Experts from Kerala have already caught more than 350 dogs within two days at Basaveshwara Nagar, Srinivas Nagar, Shivalaya road, Mujavur Mohalla, Saraswathipuram, Sayinatha road and other areas of town. It known that CMC is already in the task of shifting these dogs to Nagapuri Forest.

Chief officer of CMC Rangegowda said that apart from dogs and pigs, menace of monkeys have also turned out to be a headache to the Municipal Council.
