'Plant trees to recharge groundwater'

He was speaking after inaugurating ‘ One park in every school’ programme organised by District Parisara Sanrakshana Vedike at Ajjavara village in the taluk on Wednesday.
Planting more plants and trees will recharge the groundwater and environment could be also be saved, suggested Reddy who said that this had been proved.

District Parisara Sanrakshana Vedike President Ramegowda who spoke on the occasion said that this Vedike had taken up a programme to encourage planting of saplings in schools and college.

Every student should determine to grow at least one plant a every, Ramegowda added.
By doing so will be able to  protect the environment for future generation, he added.
Ajjavara Government School Development Committee President Lakshmipathy, Parisara Sanrakshana Vedike’s Coordinator H K Lakshmipati, Secretary Anand, D Sudheendra Babu and others were present on the occasion.
