Haryana has been awarded IFC-Mint State Competitiveness Award-2012 for its various innovative measures in economic sector.
Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, while receiving the award yesterday at a function here, said his government is laying stress on bringing qualitative change in education and enhancing employment opportunities through industrial growth.
With the expansion of educational and professional institutions, the state is destined to be an education hub in the near future, he said.
Efforts are also being made to accelerate industrial growth in the state and education will help youths in getting jobs, the chief minister said.
