Karnataka police have arrested a suspected terrorist from Barasmela village in Bihar's Darbhanga district in connection with the 2010 Chinnaswamy Stadium twin blasts, police said today.
A police team from Karnataka arrived in the village two days ago and arrested suspect Kafil Ahmed, they said. The Karnataka police team took Ahmed along with them. Superintendent of Police Garima Malik said the Karnataka police did neither contact the local police nor informed us about the arrest of Ahmed, the son of one Abdul Salam.
The Darbhanga police came to know about the arrest of the suspected terrorist from his kins subsequently, Malik said.
