Andhra Padesh former minor irrigation minister P Shankar Rao whose letter to the Andhra Pradesh High Court resulted in a CBI probe on Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is now training his guns at Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Rao, who belongs to the dalit community, threatened to file a SC/ST atrocity case against  the CM on Friday and shot a letter to the Saifabad Police Station, under which jurisdiction the State Assembly falls, seeking action against Reddy, Congress Legislative Party and its Secretary for closing its doors on him. He wanted the police to book a case under Prevention of SC/ST Atrocities Act against the CM for blocking his entry into the Congress office on the premises of the Assembly.

Congress officials had decided to lock up the press conference hall after Shankar used the venue to attack Reddy . On Thursday, when Rao found that the hall was locked up, he addressed media persons by sitting on the steps.

On Friday, Rao came to the  CLP office again and demanded that he be allowed to address the media from the press hall. When CLP officials expressed their  inability, Rao said he would file a case under SC/ST act against Reddy.

However, the Saifabad Police have rejected Shankar’s letter  saying that the case doesn’t come under their jurisdiction.

Shankar also stunned everyone by saying Jagan would become  the next chief minister.
