Thermal Engineering: 1st Place: Experimental investigation on Performance and Combustion Characteristics of Diesel Engine with Methyl Esters of Animal fat Oil and Edible Oil Blends - Pritvish M Gowda and Rajiv K.T, UVCE, 2nd place: Hybrid Solar Dryer - Manoj Kalkoti, NIE.
Design Engineering:1st place: wall climbing robot - K R Harish and S Dinesh Kumar, Kongu Engg College, Erode, Tamil Nadu, 2nd Place: Harish Venkatappa - Automation of circular glue beading process in the production line of air filters - MSRIT Bangalore.
Manufacturing Engineering:1st place: Study of the effect of grain orientation on fatigue life on engg materials - Dinesh Kumar S and Mahantesh Mathur, MSRIT, Bangalore, 2nd place : Power generation form railway tracks - Arvind George, East point college of Engineering, Bangalore.
