Net sales of the C K Birla Group flagship company during the quarter dipped 31 per cent to Rs 127.94 crore from Rs 185.01 crore in the fourth quarter of 2008. Its automobile division posted a loss before tax and interest of Rs 18.97 crore compared to a profit before tax and interest of Rs 25.66 crore. Loss before tax and interest from other businesses including engineering and other services is Rs 2.94 crore during the same period.
