Sahil Peerzada, the fiance of an American woman and allegedly beaten up by IPL cricketer Luke Pomersbach, could be discharged on Sunday as his condition is now better, a doctor attending on him said.

Australian player Pomersbach of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team is alleged to have molested the American woman in a five-star hotel in the capital early Friday and beaten up Peerzada when he tried to stop him.

Peerzada was admitted to Primus Hospital in the diplomatic area. Hospital deputy medical superintendent Deep Makkar told IANS: "Sahil Peerzada is absolutely fine now, but he is still under observation. We have to conduct two-three tests including CT scan."

"We will evaluate his brain condition again, his bleeding has stopped now," Makkar said, adding that Peerzada has no hearing loss in his left ear as he had complained earlier.
Doctors had Friday said he could suffer from hearing loss in his left ear due to bleeding.
Meanwhile, Pomersbach, against whom Delhi Police had registered a molestation case, was to appear Saturday in a Patiala House court which will decide if Pomersbach should continue to stay out on bail or go back to police custody.

Metropolitan magistrate Navita Kumari Bagha Friday granted interim bail to Pomersbach for a day and asked Delhi Police to submit visuals of CCTV cameras installed inside the hotel along with the medical report of the victim's fiance and Pomersbach to determine whether the cricketer molested the woman and assaulted her fiancé there.
