A small screen appearance

Movie-buffs have seen her as the innocent yet strong-willed mother of Shah Rukh Khan in ‘My Name Is Khan’. More recently, she was seen as Suhasini Chauhan in the Hrithik Roshan-starrer Agneepath. Zarina Wahab, the veteran actress, has to her credit many such noteworthy films like Chitchor, Rakt Charitra, Kisna and others. In the forthcoming episode of Channel V’s Gumrah, a spine-chilling show on teen crime, Zarina Wahab will render an important character dealing with an issue that is age old and yet prevails in today’s society. Watch the shocking episode as it unravels the life of two young teenagers, who suppressed in this societal norms, become both victims and perpetrators of a crime. The show airs on May 27 at 7 pm.

Putting a stop to crime

Get ready for more investigative action as Star World presents the highly-acclaimed show ‘Criminal Minds’ on May 25 at 10 pm. The show revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyse the country’s most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again.

The Behavioural Analysis Unit’s most experienced agent is David Rossi (played by Joe Mantega), a founding member of the BAU, who returns to help the team solve new cases. Each member of the BAU brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators’ motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them.

Small tiffs

Kuch Toh Log Kahenge airs on May 25 at 8 pm on Sony Entertainment Television. Small arguments take place between Dr Ashutosh and Dr Nidhi post marriage. A midnight tiff between the two makes Ashutosh confront Nidhi on her childish behaviour. Will this small argument lead to a bigger spat or will Nidhi mend her ways and adapt to Ashutosh’s way of life?

Trials and tribulations

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai airs on Star Plus on May  25 at 9.30 pm. The show seeks to build the concept of love within the traditional setting of an arranged marriage. It creates a quintessential contrast to the world around us where marriages, once considered sacrosanct in our society, are losing their sanctity and turning into relationships of convenience. The values of the society are reflected in Akshara’s trials, tribulations and her evolution from a young girl to a mature lady.

An aerial journey

Discover the new air combat machines in Discovery Science’s ‘Showdown Aircombat’. Fighter pilots are the warriors of the sky. On aerial steeds made of steel, they speed through the skies at hundreds, sometimes thousands of miles per hour. Their goal? To get the other guy before he gets them. Speed and manoeuvrability are two of the most important features in a combat fighter.

But with the right pilots and tactics, sometimes a fighter who is lacking one of these qualities can just be as effective. ‘Showdown Aircombat’ airs on May 25 at 9.30 pm.

Growing relations

Balika Vadhu airs on May 25 at 8 pm on Colors. Anandi meets Shiv in the temple and is shocked to see him in a dhoti-kurta. He is in the temple to donate some money on the occasion of his mother’s birthday. Shiv later offers to drop Anandi home and she agrees. 

On their way, they meet Het Singh. Anandi is not happy to see him and Shiv senses the tension between the two. Meanwhile, Jagya turns down the offer to work in a hospital as he doesn’t like the condition of the place.

Gauri tells him that he should not judge a place by its appearance and consider other aspects as well.
