Unravelling the past

HBO presents The Bourne Ultimatum starring Matt Damon, David Strathairn, Julia Stiles and Scott Glenn on September 16 at 9 pm.
Matt Damon returns as the trained assassin Jason Bourne in the third explosive installment of this smash hit espionage thriller series. Having lost his memory and the one person he loved, Bourne is forced to hunt down his past in order to find a future.
Travelling from Moscow, Paris and London to Tangier and New York City, he continues his quest to find the real Jason Bourne — all the while trying to outmaneuver the scores of cops, federal officers and Interpol agents who have him in their crosshairs.

Celebrating Boyle

Sony PIX celebrates the undisputed talent and works of noted British director-producer Danny Boyle with Danny Boyle Film Festival. From September 16 to 18, the channel airs award-winning movies Shallow Grave, Slumdog Millionaire and Millions at 9 pm. 
Commenting on the initiative Sunder Aaron, Business Headof the channel says, “We aim to provide the best of movies to our viewers. With a diverse array of films to his credit, director Danny Boyle has emerged to become one of the most celebrated film-makers. We had recently bagged the rights to one of his biggest films Slumdog Millionaire and with the Danny Boyle Festival, we will continue to entertain our viewers with the best in Hollywood.”
Shallow Grave, which was Danny Boyle’s directorial debut is sure to fill you with laughter.
A mix genre of comedy, crime, drama and thriller, the movie is based on the story of three friends —Alex, a journalist, David, an accountant, and Juliet, a doctor, who share a flat in Edinburg.
They need a new flat mate and after a sequence of interviews (in which unwanted applicants are rejected with calculated cruelty), the three take in the mysterious Hugo (Keith Allen). When Hugo suddenly dies of a drug overdose, they discover that he has a very large amount of cash in a suitcase.
Experience and be part of the reel life of a young orphan Jamal Malik from the slums of Mumbai with Slumdog Millionaire. Co-directed in India by Loveleen Tandon, the movie features an array of stars from the likes of Anil Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Saurabh Sukhla, Dev Patel and Frieda Pinto among others. Slumdog Millionaire won 8 Oscars, 7 BAFTA Awards and 4 Golden Globe Awards.
 Millions, an imaginative film is based on UK’s currency switch from pounds to euros, giving a gang, a chance to rob the poorly-secured train loaded with money on its way to incineration. But during the robbery, one of the big bags falls literally from the sky on Damian’s playhouse, a five-year old.


New love interest?

The last season of JD Majethia’s Baa Bahu Aur Baby saw Amit Verma aka Birju playing the love interest of Baby (played by Benaf Dadachandji). The second season will see Anirudh (Karan Sharma) playing Baby’s companion. The two meet at a marriage bureau where both of them register in special categories.
Baby registers in the polio afflicted category and Anirudh, in the visually impaired group.
Both of them soon start to like each other, but will the admiration lead to the culmination, wherein the two will take the plunge and live together forever?
