JOIN USSituation turned tense when a large number of people gathered around a car suspecting suicide inside the vehicle, near a convention hall in Subramanypura on Thursday.
The police who rushed to the spot opened the car and identified the victim as Daniel (50). They also registered a case of unnatural death.
However, the postmortem report revealed that Daniel had died of a massive heart attack.Daniel, a painting contractor and a resident of Kothnur left his home in the morning to pick up his car from a garage.
Even after his family made repeated calls to his cellphone there was no response.
Daniel might have suffered a massive heart attack while driving. As the car door could not be opened, the passersby suspected it to be a case of suicide, the police said.
