JOIN USAddressing the taluk convention of Savitha Samaja organised as a part of its golden jubilee on Tuesday at Sri Panduranga Mantap, he said that Kshaurika community is socially, educationally and economically backward and the members of the community are becoming victims to racial abuse and atrocities.
“We are looked down at as lesser human beings. Since most of us are illiterate, we are becoming victims to such atrocities. It is time we realise the significance of education and fight for our rights,” he said.
Kshaurika community members should also be given the right to file caste abuse case like the Dalits, Government should form Kshaurika Reservation Board with any Kshaurika as President and atleast one member from Kshaurika community must be elected to legislative Council, they demanded.
ZP Member K M Kemparaju, BJP Leader Dr Vishwanath among others were present.
