Lokayukta at public grievances meet

During a meeting of the taluk-level officers at travellers bungalow in Mulbagal on Thursday, Kolar Lokayukta chief, S P Sudhakar, advised the officers concerned to deliver their respective public services without delay.

Reacting to a grievance about not bringing the sale of illicit liquor under control in the rural areas, the Lokayukta directed Excise officers to take immediate action.

He also expressed disappointment over interruptions in ration deliveries to anganwadi centres.

After the meeting, Sudhakar accepted grievances from the public and promised to solve their problems. Almost 22 applications of grievances were submitted to the Lokayukta during the meeting.

DySP Nagaraj, Inspectors Manjunath, Lokesh and others were present on the occasion.
