Table tennis: State-ranking meet: Top seed MV Spoorthy outclasses Anjana to claim cadet girls crown

Third seed Samartha overcame a second game loss to beat Shreyas Kulkarni 11-9, 7-11, 11-9, 11-7 while top-seeded Spoorthy outplayed third seed Anjana 13-11, 11-8, 11-2.
Unseeded Yogesh P Rao pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the day in the cadet boys’ category when he outclassed top seed Sucheth P Shenoy 11-9, 11-4, 11-8.
