'Lease Basavanahalli lake for pisciculture'

Members said that they were cultivating fish in leased lakes for economic development. A proposal was already submitted to the Fisheries Department. However, the department diverted the lease contract to some other society, inspite of submitting all relevant documents, they charged.

While 254 hectares of region was allotted to another society, our society has been given on 64 hectares. The Basavanahalli lake should be given to SSCTMFS, members urged.
