JOIN USUttar Pradesh Legislative Council was on Thursday adjourned amidst unruly scenes by Opposition members.
The chaos erupted during question hour following the entry of an attendant into the well of the House on which Chairman Ganesh Shanker Pandey ordered him to get him out.
Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Naseemuddin Siddiqui raised a point of order alleging that the attendant came to give a slip to a minister.
There was heated argument between BSP and SP members. The BSP members came into the well after which the chairman adjourned the house for 10 minutes.
Later when the proceedings resumed Siddiqui again raised the issue and said system of slips should be closed.
Revenue Minister Ambika Chaudhary said movement of the attendant was wrong.
The BSP and SP members once again had an argument and the former came into the well after which the chairman adjourned the house for the day.
