Rotary looking for goodwill envoys

Rotary Club is in search of young professionals and businessmen aged between 25 and 40 to be sent as goodwill ambassadors to the United Kingdom (District 1020) and Canada (District 5550) under the group study exchange programme of The Rotary Foundation to promote international goodwill and peace.

Annually, Rotary International District 3190 sends two teams of four young professionals and businessmen (non Rotarians) led by a Rotary leader to their paired district in different countries on an educational and vocational exchange programme for nearly four-five weeks.

The travel cost is met by the Rotary and local hospitality will be provided by Rotarians of the visiting country. Similarly, teams are received from those countries here.

District 3190, comprising 80 Rotary Clubs covering Mandya, Bangalore Rural and Urban, Ramanagara, Chikkaballapur, Tumkur, Kolar and Chittoor districts, has called for
