Medical education and district in-charge minister S A Ramdas on Saturday appeared before a court in the city and paid a fine of Rs 100.
The judge of third city civil court Damayanti had issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against the minister for failing to appear before the court in a case.
As is the procedure, the minister, appeared at the court and paid the fine.
The minister among others had been booked in a case for taking out a procession against the number of activists, set by Election Commission, while filing nomination papers to the assembly elections in 2008.
