JOIN USCity-based microfinance institution Janalakshmi Financial Services, which is engaged in servicing the financial needs of the urban poor, as part of financial inclusion initiative, on Tuesday, launched its first JanaOne centre in Tilak Nagar, Bangalore.
Briefing reporters, Managing Director & CEO V S Radhakrishnan, said each JanaOne centre would provide one-stop shop for all the financial needs of its customers.
It will focus on a specific sub-set of Janalakshmi’s existing group-based customers who have been with the organisation for over two years. The company has 9,285 customers in Tilak Nagar area to whom it will provide a range of financial services, he added. Janalakshmi, which currently operates across 66 branches in 47 cities across 10 states in the country plans to go in for further equity infusion to the tune of Rs 380 crore through private placements.
