Prime Minister Manmohan Singh himself had agreed that only small fishes are being caught in the net of anti-corruption mechanism. However, no measures are being implemented to tackle the issue of corruption by the Union government so far, he added.

Those Bills should have been passed only after thorough discussion in the Parliament. However, it has been passed without any serious discussion, he said adding that politicians are well aware of the fact that they will be in trouble, if stringent law was passed against corruption.

Manipal University Vice Chancellor Dr K Gopalakrishna Prabhu, Dean Dr J Rajagopal NFCFM President Dr Nagesh kumar and organising secretary Dr B Sureshkumar Shetty were present.
