Minister for Urban Development Suresh Kumar said that all efforts to persuade MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty to change his decision from tendering resignation have failed.
The BJP senior leader A G Kodgi also held a lengthy talk with Shetty. However, he is determined. “We will make all efforts to change his mind,” Kodgi added.
He was speaking to presspersons after visiting the house of MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty, near Siddapura.
Shetty said “I am firm on my decision. There is no question of changing my mind. I will leave for Bangalore tomorrow and submit my resignation to the Speaker. I will come to a final decision on future course of action, after holding talks with my supporters,” he added.
