Actress Halle Berry was taken to hospital after an accident on the set of her new movie "The Hive".
The 45-year-old was shooting for the film, in which she stars alongside Abigail Breslin and David Otunga, when the incident occurred and an ambulance was called to take her to the Cedars Sinai medical centre here, reported TMZ Online.
It is not known exactly what caused the injury but it is said that Berry was either hit by a falling object or fell down from stairs.
The set was shut down following the accident.
