<p> Michael Jackson's mother Katherine has broken her silence ever since she was reported missing to say she is stunned that custody of her grandchildren have been temporarily taken away from her.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Following the absence of their grandmother for about 10 days, a judge temporarily gave custody of King of Pop's three children - Prince, Paris and Blanket - to their 34-year-old cousin TJ.<br /><br />"I am devastated that while I've been away, my grandchildren have been taken away from me and I'm coming home," said Katherine.<br /><br />Following days of escalating tensions amongst her feuding family, the Jackson family matriarch claimed she "wasn't kidnapped" and "just needed a rest", reported ABC News.<br />"There are rumours going around about me that I have been kidnapped... I am here today to let everybody to know that I am good and fine. My children would never do anything to me like that. It's stupid," said Katherine.<br /><br />Her children Jermaine, Janet and Rebbie stood close around the anxious 82-year-old as she read out a prepared statement at the luxury resort where she has been staying.<br />Katherine claimed that the removal of custody from her was based on a "bunch of lies" but failed to explain why she hadn't notified her three wards of her intention to take a "short vacation and rest".<br /><br />"One reason I didn't call is I just gave up my phone and I didn't want to have any phone calls while I was here."<br /><br />Katherine also confirmed that she had left her grandson TJ in charge and that her assistant had been in contact with her grandson Prince.<br /><br />"He said everything was going fine back home. Still I think about the children... worry about them but they're fine... I told them I would come home today and they're waiting for me to come," she said.<br /><br />Paris, who has been tweeting the past ten days asking to speak to her grandmother, today wrote on the micro-blogging site, "grandma's here! thankyougod (sic)".<br /><br />Earlier she posted a few lines from her father's song: "Everyones taking control of me, it seems that the worlds got a role for me... im so confused will u show to me you'll be there for me (sic)."</p>
