DVS visits Haladi at his residence

Former chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda visited former MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty, on Saturday. 

Speaking on the occasion, Gowda said that it was a courtesy visit. “We have discussed internal issues. I am a close associate of Haladi. He was not involved in lobbying for getting power,” said Gowda to media persons. 

To a query on whether he is the contender for the post of state BJP president, Gowda said: “I am not a contender for the post. I was the president in the past. I am ready to discharge any duty entrusted on me.”
