A group of five unidentified youths threw stones at the office of legislator Narendra Babu at Vrushabhavatinagar in Kamakshipalya on Monday. Window panes and an aquarium were damaged in the incident.
According to police, a person named Suresh, a rowdy-sheeter, was in the office when the incident occurred and the miscreants might have targeted him. The MLA alleged that his office had been stoned on five occasions earlier and the police failed to take any action. He said Suresh is a Congress worker and an accused in a case. The Kamakshipalya police have registered a case.
