When things go awry

In tonight’s episode of Sasural Simar Ka, Simar sees someone rushing away with a bag and assuming that it’s a thief, she tries to stop him.

In this hustle, Simar gets pushed away and she falls down the stairs.

Meanwhile, Roli gets a feeling that there is something amiss and rushes towards the house — where she finds Simar lying on the floor. This leaves her in absolute shock.

Obstacles on the work front

In tonight’s episode of Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka, Rajni reaches office with her fresh look and Krish is amazed to see her in this new avatar.

Unappreciative of this sudden change and resenting the fact that she’s working, Krish puts Rajni through severe tests in the hope that she fails to accomplish them and is forced to get out of the work scenario.

Rajni gets the work done in time and with perfection. Baffled by the way the task has been exceptionally executed, an annoyed Krish leaves Rajni unattended.

Escape from the digital world

Tron: Legacy’ airs on Star Movies at 9 pm on August 8. Sam Flynn finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron, when he is attempting to search for his long-lost father.

Together, they embark on a journey of escape across a cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

This sci-fi flick, which is directed by Joseph Kosinski, stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde.

Battle of the voices

The second season of ‘The Voice’ airs on AXN at 4.05 pm on August 8. This show offers aspiring singers the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be mentored by celebrity
coaches.

Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton return with their sizzling chemistry and their trademark red swiveling chairs, to judge contestants solely on their vocal talent and not their looks.

If more than one coach turns to pick a particular singer, the tide turns and the choice of coach goes to the singer.

This season, show producer Mark Burnett has added more rounds of blind auditions and each of the coaches’ teams will be expanded to 12 singers each.

A surprising turn of events

The Super Khiladi stars Kajal Aggarwal, Samanta and Prakash Raj. The movie centres around Bhoomi, a young girl who doesn’t want to get married.

Because of this, she lies and says that she already has a boyfriend. Her friend Indu asks her own boyfriend, Kush, to become Bhoomi’s lover.

He impresses Bhoomi’s family, and everything seems to be going smoothly — but at the last moment, a surprising turn of events transpires.

From the streets to the stage

Step Up’ airs on HBO at 9 pm on August 8. The movie, which is directed by Anne Fletcher, stars Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan and Damaine Radcliffe.
