Woman, two children found hanging

 A woman and her two children were found hanging at their house at Vidyamanya Nagar in Tavarekere on Tuesday evening. 

Neighbours broke open the door when foul smell started emanating from the house. The bodies were found in a decomposed state. The dead have been identified as Sujatha, 40, her 16-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son Madhu. The three were found hanging from a ceiling fan from separate duppattas. Sujatha was living with her children after separating from her husband eight years ago, sources said. A case has been registered at Tavarekere Police Station. Police said that there was no death note and the reason for the extreme step was yet to be ascertained.
