KEA releases allotment results for casual vacancy seats

 The results of seat allotment under casual vacancy round were published by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on its website on Wednesday evening.Swastik Hegde, ranked 124th, was the first student to be allotted a BE seat. He is followed by Bhuvan M S, ranked 267, and Mukund Y R, ranked 268.

 In the medical stream, the first seat was allotted to Shradha Zutshi, ranked 344. Ritu Bhat, ranked 348G55, and Amulya P, ranked 349th, were the next to be allotted MBBS seats.  Qiraat Imtiyaz Attar, ranked 1,365, was the first to get a BDS seat. Ghanashree S, ranked 1,485th, and Prerna Sharma, rank 1,967, were the next allottees.  ScheduleStudents who wish to accept the allotted seats should collect admission orders from KEA as per the following schedule: n August 9: 8 am to 11.30 am: Rank 1-10,000; noon to 4 pm: 10,001-20,000; 4.30 pm to 7 pm: Rank 20,001-25,000 n August 10: 8 am to 11.30 am: Rank 25,001-35,000; noon to 4 pm: 35,001-45,000; 4.30 pm to 7 pm: Rank 45,001-50,000 n August 11: 8 am to 11.30 am: Rank 50,001-70,000; noon to 4 pm: 70,001 to the last rank. Students who want to appear for the second stage of the casual vacancy round while retaining the allotted seats and those who want to cancel the seats need not visit the helpline centres. They can update their statuses on www.kea.kar.nic.in and enter options for the second stage, which will be held from August 16 to 18.

Compulsory Those who have been allotted seats under special categories, such as NCC, Sports, Physically Handicapped and Jammu and Kashmir, should compulsorily accept the allotted seats or pull out of counselling altogether. They cannot attend any further round of counselling. Candidates who accept the allotted seats should produce verification slips, acknowledgement cards (green cards), and printouts of exercising choice 1 (accepting the seats). They should also bring the demand draft (DD) of the stipulated fee. Students who have passed II PUC/+2 examination before last year or earlier should also produce original Transfer Certificates (TCs). August 13 is the last date for students who accept the allotted seats to report to the respective colleges.
