A man has been arrested for gang raping a college student along with three more persons after taking the victim to Alwar in Rajasthan, police said on Wednesday.
The victim is a BA second year student in a government college and a resident of Gurgaon. She was taken to Alwar on August 3 and gang raped for several days, police said. “Main accused Rahul, a resident of Feroze Gandhi Colony, was arrested. He abducted her on the pretext of offering her a lift on August 3 after her college and took her to Alwar,” police officer Rajender Singh said. Other accused, Manish and Rambir, are students from the victim’s college, while the fourth, Sawant, hails from Alwar. They are absconding.
