BWSSB camps for new water connections

 The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will set up camps to enable consumers avail new water connections without any hassle. The Board is also in the process of simplifying the applications for obtaning water connections under Cauvery IV stage II phase project.

The camps will be set up at the newly formed sub-division offices and service stations and the dates are yet to be finalised.

T Venkataraju, engineer-in-chief, BWSSB, said after submission of the application in the prescribed format, the officials from the Board and licensed plumbers will visit the house to install meters. A minimum of Rs 50 will be charged initially and actuall billling will commence after the meters start functioning.
