Advani to meet Joshi in semifinals

Advani after winning the first two frames with relative ease lost the next two as veteran Bhaskar showed signs of a fightback. However, Advani regrouped immediately and pocketed the next two to come out a 4-2 (150-84, 152-26, 42-152, 71-150, 150-31, 152-76) winner.

Joshi had an easy outing against former National champion Ashok Shandilya, emerging a convincing 4-1 (152-126, 57-150, 151-122, 152-20, 153-37) victor.

In the other last eight matches, Geet Sethi defeated Rupesh Shah 4-2 (150-41, 91-150, 150-140, 92-150, 150-53, 151-89) while Dhruv Sitwala prevailed over Alok Kumar 4-1 ((152(145)-31, 150-94, 123-150, 150(119)-03, 150(99)-130).
