Four persons bludgeoned to death in Jharkhand

Four persons were bludgeoned to death with stones by unknown killers in Maoist-hit Khunti district, the police said today.

"All the dead persons were between 25 and 28 years of age, and the bodies, with hands tied and heads badly wounded, were found this morning at Jiling Buru village," Superintendent of Police Tamilvanan told reporters here.

The police ruled out Maoists behind the incident as going by the past incidents extremists either slit throats or used bullets while committing crime.
