Creative way of promotion

Director Arvind Kaushik is known for dabbling with unique concepts when it comes to his films as well as his promotions.

The last time around when he made promos for his film Nam Arealondina it became the talk of the town for its fresh approach, youthfulness and quirky lines.

He has completed the shoot of his latest venture Nam Arealinnondina in a record time of two hours. The director along with his team brainstormed on how they were going to start promoting the film. “Over the years the promos have become an essential part of any movie. After all, it is the selling point of the film,” explains Arvind.

That is why this time around Arvind thought of making a promo for the promo of the film. “When the promo of Nam Arealondina came out, it became a huge hit and we wanted to keep that buzz going for this film as well. That’s when I thought of making a promo for the promo itself. Since we are in our post-production stage we shot a small video and put it up on YouTube, stating that the promo will be out soon,” he explains.

The video has glimpses of everything, be it the music, the witty trademark dialogues, action scenes, and even a small glimpse of the film itself.

“Since the titles of both the films are so similar people are automatically going to assume this is a sequel or at least expect a similar movie. That’s why through this video I want the audience to get prepared on what they can expect. This is a completely different genre and the attitude and treatment given to Nam Arealinnondina will be a lot more fresh,” he says.

Now that the film has been shot, Arvind says that he will be releasing the first look and the posters soon and as for the actual promo of the movie, the director adds, “That will be out next week. With the kind of positive response we got for this video, the pressure is on us to come out with an even better promo. But I am sure it will not disappoint the fans.”
