KSE flays KPCC chief over RSS remark

Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa demanded on Sunday that KPCC president G Parameshwara should apologise for targeting the RSS over the Assam violence.

Addressing reporters at a joint press meet with former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa at the party office here, he said the Intelligence Bureau had stated that Congress MPs had funded the attacks in Assam. That being the case, Parameshwara had accused the RSS of masterminding the violence in Assam. Referring to Union Power Minister Veerappa Moily’s remark that the CAG report on allocation of coal blocks was not final, Eshwarappa said Moily should not speak about the report in such a manner.

The Congress and JD(S) in the State should clarify what they thought about the CAG report on coal. All BJP leaders, including Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, would take part in the inauguration of Yeddyurappa’s visit to drought-hit districts on August 21, he said.
