Fighting for their lives

The Predator’ airs on Star Movies at 11.10 pm on August 23. Directed by Nimrod Antal, the movie stars Adrien Brody and Topher Grace. A group of hardened killers are hunted on an alien planet in producer Robert Rodriguez and director Nimrod Antal’s entry into the popular sci-fi action franchise. Mercenaries, murderers, gangsters and convicts, they were the most feared men on Earth. But now, they’re a long way from home and when the predators become the prey, fearless mercenary Royce (Adrien Brody) prepares for the fight of his life.
And he’s not alone because Mexican gangster Cuchillo (Danny Trejo), is in a soup too.

Twist to a classic tale

Catch ‘Alice in Wonderland’ on Zee Studio at 8.50 pm on August 23. Alice (Mia Wasikowska) is all of nineteen when she gets engaged to an English nobleman. Alice finds her fiance rather stupid and runs away from her engagement party, wondering whether she wants to go through with the marriage. That’s when she falls down a hole in the garden and lands up in Wonderland. Only, it’s called Underland and is inhabited by strange people and talking animals.


Alice soon finds out the reason for her presence in Underland — to overthrow the horrid Jabberwocky and re-establish the queen on her throne.

Action and laughter in Paris

High-octane drama on screen

Fifth Gear’ is a magazine format show that everyone would love — exact opinions, sharp driving, hard-hitting consumer advice and an excellently compiled selection of some of the best cars in the world. Vicki, the host, takes viewers under the hoods of the latest speedsters and conducts tests and stunts to see what different cars are capable of. Tune in to this action-packed episode on August 23 at 9.30 pm on Turbo to experience some high-octane action in the world cars.
