Jaswant will remain PAC chief: Meira

Meira said this at Bihta in Bihar,  40 km from Patna, where she laid the foundation stone for an Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical college. Union Labour Minister Mallikarjun Kharge presided over the function. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who was the chief guest, thanked the farmers of Bihta for giving their land to set up the super-speciality medical college.

On the BJP’s demand for Jaswant’s removal from the PAC chief’s post, the speaker literally snubbed the saffron party. “There are certain rules and regulations for running Parliament. And I will go by the set rules,” said Meira.
