British heartthrob Jude Law will not be visiting his new born baby girl with model Samantha Burke as he is tied up with work.
The actor will not see his newborn daughter Sophia, until the next three months as he is too busy with his theatre production in Broadway, New York, reported Daily Telegraph.
The love child of the actor and the model, who was conceived after a brief fling, was born in Florida on Tuesday this week.
"Sadly, Jude will not be able to see Sophia until he finishes work on 'Hamlet' on Broadway in December. He is keen to see her and will make sure that he visits her before he returns to Britain," said a source close to the 'Alfie' actor.
He is also concerned that the newborn and her mother could be affected by the attention surrounding his visit.
"Jude thinks that if he goes to Florida immediately, it will be a media circus. He doesn't see why he should give the paparazzi the pleasure," added the source.
Meanwhile the 36-year-old actor is facing a 2 million pound payout to cover Sophia's living costs until she turns 18.
The maintenance bill will include medical and school fees, along with 5,000 pounds-a-month living expenses.
It has also been claimed that 24-year-old Burke is planning a tell-all interview about her romance with 36-year-old actor and also considering selling exclusive photographs of the baby.
"Samantha is getting offers ranging up to 120,000 pounds for an interview and baby photos. She will talk openly about her relationship with Jude. While Jude has promised to provide for Sophia, Samantha doesn't think his behaviour was entirely chivalrous," said a source close to the aspiring actress.
Law has three other children Rafferty, 12, Iris, eight, and six-year-old Rudy, with his ex-wife Sadie Frost.
